Cowabunga! Interview with director/animator Kevin Munroe, of TMNT

Kevin Munroe has been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since they first appeared in comic book form in 1984. In fact, he owns the first edition of the comic book series. He says he loves the combination of action and humor. That's why he wanted to make TMNT the movie. After working for years in the animation business, he thought Computer Generated Imagery would be the way to go. For the past 10 years, Munroe has animated everything from video games to TV series for Disney, The Cartoon Network, The Jim Henson Company, and Nickelodeon. Warner Bros. new film TMNT is his first shot as a movie director. Read more
